BBB Interior Consumer Guide and the Community Resource Directory
BC Interior Accredited Businesses were featured in the Consumer Guide section of the Community Resource Directory, an annual publication found across the Thompson-Okanagan.
Today's savvy consumers Start with Trust and contact the BBB before hiring a service provider or making a large purchase.
The Community Resource Directory, entering its 23rd year in publishing, is a quick and valued reference when needing to find contact info on a business, shopping for a product, or simply browsing for a service. About 25,000 copies are distributed throughout Thompson-Okanagan, including community centres, libraries, government offices, and other high traffic areas.
Coverage areas include: Osoyoos - Oliver; Summerland - Ok Falls; Penticton - Peachland; West Kelowna - Kelowna; Lake Country - Oyama; Vernon - Lumby; Armstrong - Enderby; Sicamous - Salmon Arm; Kamloops - Merritt

Q: Does this directory “endorse” accredited businesses?
A: No, it is not an endorsement; it’s a listing of all businesses that are accredited by the BBB. The companies have agreed to follow our Code of Ethics and meet our Standards. We don’t endorse or recommend any company. No one is saying, “Here’s the plumber you should be dealing with.” That is still up to the individual for their own best judgment.
Q: How do I get my business into the Consumer Guide?
A: Only companies that are BBB Accredited can be listed in the Consumer Guide. If you would like your company to be accredited, or you would like to recommend a company, please contact us about accreditation.
Q: What is the deadline for entry in the Consumer Guide?
A: The BBB Consumer Guide for the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley is an annual publication which is typically distributed in February. The absolute final deadline for BBB Accredited Businesses to be included in the 2014 guide is November 2013.
