I am writing to the BBB to applaud the excellent Customer Service I recently received from Allied Windows. In November of 2004, I purchased three windows from Allied Windows, a company based in Aldergrove, BC. In November of 2007, I noticed moisture & a cloudy film between the window panes, which was an indication of the seals being compromised. I contacted Allied Windows and I am happy to report that the Company acted quickly, without hesitation. The technician arrived to take measurements & the windows were installed on Jan 18th, 2008. It was a pleasure to deal with Allied Windows, especially, Linda, in Customer Service, who was responsible in resolving the problem with my windows. I cannot praise Allied Windows, enough, for their high level of professionalism and quick action.

Amco Appliance Service
I just wanted to let you know what a positive experience it was dealing with Amco Appliance Service. Not only was Amco able to help me today, Paramjit Kalsi, the owner ... quickly got to work and solved the problem in a timely manner. He also bothered to check to make sure the fix worked properly. On top of that he called me by my first name the entire visit rather than the usual "Miss or Ma'am". Not that I am counting on needing an appliance person again anytime soon, but Amco certainly will be my first call.

The service, experience and quality of the installation could not have been better. The owner came to our home, gave us an estimate and his installer did the installation the very next day. The product and final price was exactly as quoted and the installation was smooth, quick and clean. All old materials were removed and totally cleaned up.

Burnaby Dental Centre
I am writing to tell you about my experience with Dr. N. Popat of the Burnaby Dental Centre. I asked Dr. Popat for advice regarding a tooth that my mother needed to have pulled. My mother is 99 years old with dementia and limited mobility. Dr. Popat immediately offered to come, on her day off, to the care home that my mother lives in and remove her tooth. On a Saturday that is exactly what she did. She was able to freeze the tooth and then remove it. She also checked my mother’s other teeth and reassured me that nothing else needed to be done. Dr. Popat stayed with my mother for 15 or 20 minutes after the extraction to make sure that she was all right. I can’t thank her enough for making “a house call” and reassuring me about the rest of my mother’s teeth.

We had to stick to our budget for the flowers. I found La Belle Fleur In Surrey on this site. Tracy is so talented & creative. She not only stayed in budget but gave Our Bride her Dream Bouquet. I am very pleased with the work done on my condo, and the overall job done by Level One!
I had an idea of what I wanted, but had no real idea of how to get it accomplished. I let Randy’s judgment and expertise assist me, and I am delighted with the results.
Just for your amusement, a friend in the building has had a handyman working on his place for over 9 months now. When I was able to compare the work your men did on things like the flooring and the crown molding, the difference is like night and day. It really made me realize that I did the right thing with going with Level One. I think they have installed the crown molding upside down. It looks a mess. I only wish I had more funds to continue with other areas of the condo. I am certain that Randy and his crew would not disappoint! I would be happy to refer Level One to my friends and family. In fact, my best friend and neighbour is going to contact Level One for some painting of a difficult ceiling. I hope to have Level 1 back when I have more finances. I have other areas of my condo which need upgrading and renovating.

I phoned them with a wiring problem I encountered to see if they could come that day to help me with it. I was told they were fully booked for the day, but I was asked about the problem anyway. When I explained it, I was told within 2 minutes what the problem was and how to fix it. No charge.
I was able to correct the problem myself in less than 5 minutes. A saving of over $100 dollars and 24 hours in wait time.
I know you get mainly complaints to deal with, but I hope you will let them know they have a very happy non-customer.

I would like to pass on my kudos to Point Grey Plumbing of Vancouver and Richmond, B.C. Over the years I have had to call in plumbers several times to my 80 year old house, for both major outside excavation and minor indoor plumbing jobs. Since my first call to Point Grey Plumbing in 2006, I have not wanted to deal with anyone else. The technicians have all been very pleasant and done excellent work, the owner has personally appeared and rendered a very reasonable and ultimately accurate estimate for big jobs, the works arrive at the scheduled time, are polite and clean up the job site very nicely, and above all, the individual at the front office who takes all the phone calls is exceedingly pleasant and keeps everyone organized and fully informed. I plan to continue to employ this company as needed, and would happily recommend Point Grey Plumbing to anyone for big or small jobs.

Charles Stratford saved me from a botched bathroom job. I hired the wrong contractor to renovate my bathroom, hallway and bedroom of which only the bedroom floor turned out. Charles fixed the plumbing in the tub free of charge and out of the goodness of his heart. He was the one bright side of this whole debacle. I will recommend his services to anyone who will listen. However, he's so popular they'll have to wait 12 months for him to come available. I owe Charles a lot. He is honest, reliable, thorough and knowledgeable. If only I had met him first and not the crook I hired.

…I phoned the Chimney Guys on Monday, the owner showed up at my place the next day, inspected the chimney, and gave me a quote, his honesty and knowledge of his trade surpassed the other few that I had consulted before him. He got the job. I was so very impressed and admired all the safety precautions he took, and treated his workers with respect.
And to top it all, his price was much better than all the other quotes I had had. His job was superb.

… I drive a (car) that suffered a flat tire last week. The tire could not be repaired…due to the location of the puncture. Countless numbers of tire dealers were unable to secure this particular make and brand of tire. Apparently it is no longer in production. Even my ... dealership was unable to help…I was concerned with an exact match, otherwise the 4 by 4 mechanics would be compromised. I have a newborn, so safety is imperative. I finally phoned Tireman, who understood my situation and was able to order the exact tire for me…The service and quality of care was wonderful. I was treated calmly, courteously, and professionally. All my concerns were addressed and the tire was exchanged. I wish to thank Tireman … for providing the quality service my own dealership was unable to provide.
